The Samsung Galaxy S21 is an Android device that makes the right compromises. For less than US$200, Samsung is upgrading an amazing amount, including a dynamic 120Hz screen, an enhancement of camera loads for boating, and a faster Snapdragon 888 (including a new zoom lock feature).
Samsung has also developed a more smart and intuitive one-to-one user interface app for the Galaxy S21. This system also makes several sacrifices to achieve its lower price, including a lower-resistant display and the lack of a MicroSD card slot in the case. And though the phone doesn’t feel that otherwise, instead of glass, the back is plastic. The new 5g flagships from Samsung are the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra. In traditional Smartphone types, they represent the pinnacle of consumer-ready technology. These phones come with class-leading technology, and the famous S pen experience is provided for the first time by a phone outside the Galaxy Note lineup.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy S21
Let’s begin with the Galaxy S21 series show. The dynamic AMOLED 2x monitor with 120Hz variable refresh, 20:9 aspect ratio, and support for HDR10, is available in all three devices of the series. All three devices have an infinity-o camera, just the marketing word for centralized hole-punch displays for Samsung. The new Gorilla Glass Victus is also available on all three phones to cover the scratch and drop. And the Galaxy S series also has an Always-on show feature, as with previous Galaxy S models.
The biggest difference between the three phones is the screen-sized from 6.2” to 6.7” on the plus and 6.8” on the ultra on the standard Galaxy S21. The standard plus versions also have an FHD+ panel with a relatively low-end flat. The Galaxy S21 ultra gives little interesting details because its display has a slight curve on the edges and a bump up to QHD+ resolution.
It is also the first time a Samsung Galaxy flagship gets not only QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate but also QHD+ resolution refresh rate of 120Hz. The peak brightness is also different from the ultra being as luminous as 1500nits, while the other two are reduced to a still respectable 1300nits.
The dimensions of the screen are bound to be different between the three phones, and so the weight of these phones. A variation in construction materials often compounds the weight disparity. The aluminum midframes in all three systems are the same as Galaxy Note 20, but the Galaxy S21 gets a polycarbonate back. The Galaxy S21 plus and ultra will return with a Victus Gorilla Glass.
The rear camera module is another apparent shift in design. This year, the camera module flows around the corner rather than being an island, has a far more distinctive look. The bump remains, but the surface area of the camera stretches to one corner. Thus, when set on a table, your phones should be slightly less likely to wobble. Because of additional hardware, the Galaxy S21 Ultra contains the largest camera module.
All in all, the phones look tidy and understated otherwise, the only branding is the Samsung logo on the back (coupled with other mandatory certification brandings as mandated by regional law). The devices are fitted with a USB 3.2 type C slot, a grille on the ground, and the normal power button and volume rocker on the left. You are disappointed as you wait for the headphone jack to return this year, as this is not current. But the whole line-up is IP68 for water and emissions safety on the bright side.
Samsung again chose to use a fingerprint ultrasonic in-display scanner on the series for biometrics, which was saved on both optical in-displays and side-mounted fingerprints. While neither Samsung nor Qualcomm has verified explicitly the exact hardware, we are sure that the devices will use the 3D sonic second-generation sensor.
Also, certain colors are exclusive to Samsung.com. That includes the Galaxy S21+, Phantom red and fantastic gold, the S21 Brown phantom navy, and the Galaxy S21 super fantastic titanium. These colors are only available in a limited amount and will possibly only be available during the pre-order time.
Samsung follows its normal division device SoC trends for the United States and some selected territories, as well as the rest of the world. The USA and other regions such as Hong Kong and China get snapdragon 888 SoC, while Exynos2100 SoC is available worldwide. Our coverage of these SoCs is unique and we invite you to explore them for more information.
In the over-killing area(12GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, Galaxy S21 Plus), as in the general topic of the lineup, RAM and storage options are more convenient to deal with (8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB). S21 and Galaxy S21plus are available for use. Unfortunately, on all of these phones, there is no MicroSD card support, so you can choose the right store number from the bat.
The configuration of the camera is one of the most important variations between the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21plus and the Galaxy S21ultra. The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21plus are equipped with the same camera, and the Galaxy S21 ultra is slightly different.
