Apart from all this, you can also permanently uninstall Microsoft Teams if you don’t use it at all.

Please Note: You can’t just uninstall the Microsoft Teams app the usual way, instead, you will need to uninstall it twice.

To be more specific, you will have to uninstall the ‘Microsoft Teams app’ as well as the ‘Teams Machine-Wide Installer.’ If you just uninstall the Microsoft Teams application, the machine-wide installer will reinstall it every time you sign in to your PC, therefore, to completely uninstall Teams, you need to uninstall both these applications.

Step 1: To uninstall both the applications, you need to head to ‘Settings’.

Step 2: From Settings, you need to find ‘Apps’.

Step 3: Once you open ‘Apps’, next you need to access the ‘Apps & features’ menu on your system.

Step 4: Under the ‘Apps & features’ menu, you need to search for the ‘Teams’ app.

Step 5: Once you find the app, you will need to uninstall both the ‘Microsoft Teams app’ and the ‘Teams Machine-Wide Installer’.

With this, you are done. The next time you sign in to your PC or laptop, the Teams app won’t automatically start or reinstall itself. It will stay deleted from your system until you download and launch it again.
