Another way to hard reset iPad
Another way in which you can hard reset your iPad is by backing up everything before you go for a hard reset. Here is how you hard reset iPad:
Go to settings
Click on general and scroll down to the reset option.
Tap on erase all contents and settings
Then it will ask you to enter the password in order to restore everything to factory settings, enter the passcode.
Enter the details of the apple id and password which will remove your account from the device.
