How to connect SmartThings to Google Home?

- Open your Google Home application and open the Menu. Make sure to use the Google account with which you use your Google Home.
- First, we need to switch accounts, for this, you need to click on the arrow beside your account name and tap on the Home Control option.
- Open the Devices settings and click on the plus icon at the bottom corner.
- Click on the SmartThings tab.
- Fill in the SmartThings credentials or e-mail address and click on the Next option.
- From the Menu choose the SmartThings Location and choose to authorize such that all the devices of the location will get permission to be accessed.
Note: This permits all the devices to be accessed using SmartThings. In order to restrict it, you can modify the access that Google Home controls.

- Open the Google Home Menu from the application.

- Click on the plus icon on the bottom corner.
- You can add the room from the list or add the room using the ‘Custom Room’ option.
- To save the group click on Done.
- Now go to the Devices tab from which you can select the device and add it to a particular room by clicking on the Room.
